Hello, I’m Natania Kobayashi, a therapist and counsellor with a deep passion for helping people find clarity, balance, and happiness in their lives. My path into the world of therapy began with my own positive experience in counselling and a desire to understand and help others who may also feel overwhelmed by the complexities of life. With several years of experience working within the NHS and other agencies, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from all walks of life through challenges that impact their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Every person’s story is unique, which is why I take a personalised approach in each session. I integrate multiple therapeutic models—including Psychodynamic and Person-Centered Therapy—to tailor the work to your specific needs and goals. This approach not only allows me to adapt to what works best for you but also fosters a sense of collaboration, ensuring that our work together feels meaningful, supportive, and effective.
Creating a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space is central to my practice. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is most transformative when it’s built on trust, respect, and empathy. My role is to guide you toward self-awareness and to provide tools and insights that empower you to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence. My goal is not just to help you find solutions, but to help you reconnect with yourself and uncover your own strengths along the way.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I’m committed to ongoing learning and regularly engage in training to deepen my understanding and effectiveness as a therapist. Beyond my formal training, my experience has taught me that growth and healing comes from self-discovery, awareness and connection with others. With a caring and integrative approach, I am here to support you on that path.
